Private residential cleaning & linen care · Edinburgh

A home that's simply taken care of.

For those who'd rather come home to a beautifully kept house than spend their time keeping it that way. We get to know your home and the way you like things done - then quietly take care of the rest.

Your cleaning visits

The same team, the same standard, every time.

Weekly or fortnightly, the same familiar face looks after your home rather than a different person from an agency pool each time - so nothing needs re-explaining and nothing gets missed.

  • Bathrooms & kitchen, thoroughly cleaned
  • Surfaces, floors and everyday upkeep
  • Regular attention to kitchen appliances
  • A final walk-through before we leave
  • A record of each visit, with photos in your account
Freshly folded linen
Linen management

Fresh linen, without having to think about it.

Laundry has a habit of taking over a household. Our linen service takes that away entirely.

  • Your spare linen kept at our storage facility
  • Fresh sheets and towels swapped in every visit
  • Used linen taken away, washed, dried and pressed
  • Linen supplied by Carlin too, if you'd prefer
Household essentials kept topped up
Stock management

Never running out, without a cupboard full of bottles.

Toilet paper, hand wash and washing-up liquid, kept quietly topped up every visit for households who'd like us to take that off their list too.

  • Eco essentials, refilled from bulk - far less single-use plastic
  • Served in Carlin glass dispensers, swapped clean each visit
  • Checked and topped up every time, so it's never on your list
  • Every top-up logged in your account
Pricing

You're not paying for a clean home. You're paying to get your time back.

Carlin is a fully managed, done-for-you service, not an hourly clean - so there's no rate card to quote from. We work with a limited number of private households, and every price is set after we've seen your home and understood what you'd like taken off your plate.

Who we are

A familiar team in your home.

Carlin Home Services is a small Edinburgh-based team, closer to a private housekeeper than a domestic cleaner - and we intend to keep it that way. Where possible, the same people look after your home each time, and we're fully insured throughout.
