Carlin is a private, ongoing arrangement rather than a one-off booking. We get to know your home properly - which is why every client starts with a visit, a tailored quote and their own private scheduling account.
How is pricing worked out?
There's no fixed rate card. After visiting your home and discussing what you'd like taken care of, we'll give you one clear, tailored price for an ongoing, fully managed service.
Can I cancel or pause my cleans?
Yes. You can cancel an individual clean, or your whole arrangement for the month, any time up until the day of your next scheduled visit - no questions asked.
Are you insured?
Yes, we're fully insured for residential cleaning.
Who actually cleans my home?
The same small, hand-picked team looks after your home every visit - not a rotating pool from a cleaning agency.
How do you access my home on cleaning day?
If you'd like us to hold a key, it's kept on a coded tag - never your name or address - in a locked safe, and signed in and out against each visit. Smart-lock access works just as well if you'd prefer that, and you're always welcome to be home during the visit instead.
What products do you use? I have allergies or preferences.
We're happy to use your own products, or work around any allergies or sensitivities - just let us know during your home visit.
Do you look after household linen too?
Yes - linen care can be added to your regular visits, including supplying the linen ourselves if you'd rather not keep or store your own sets.
Do you keep my home stocked with essentials?
If you'd like, yes - toilet paper, hand wash and washing-up liquid are checked and topped up every visit, served from glass dispensers rather than disposable bottles. Every top-up is logged in your account.
Which areas of Edinburgh do you cover?
New Town, Stockbridge, Morningside, The Grange, Merchiston, Bruntsfield, Colinton and elsewhere in Edinburgh - just ask if you're unsure.
